Hypnotherapy Los Angeles

Pediatric Hypnotherapy

Can kids be hypnotized?

As a rule, children make excellent hypnotic subjects and respond very well to Hypnotherapy. Children spend a substantial portion of every day in a state of hypnosis. For example, any time they play “pretend” or a video game, or watch TV, they are in a form of hypnotic trance. Children are also naturally suggestible to new behaviors, as their behavioral programming is not as firmly “set” as is the case with adults. Thus, for a child, changing attitudes and behaviors, erasing fears, and boosting performance through hypnotherapy is often extremely effective. Common uses for hypnotherapy in children include:

  • Academic Performance
  • ADD
  • Athletics
  • Concentration and Focus
  • Disciplinary Issues
  • Fears and Phobias
  • Enuresis, (Bedwetting)
  • Motivation
  • Self Esteem
  • Sibling Rivalry
  • Stress Management
  • Test Anxiety
I work with more and more children every year, from about the age of 5 through adolescence. It is a joy to help a young person find their way and attain their goals. If you have any questions about hypnotherapy for your child, whether you live in Los Angeles or on the East Coast, please call at any time. I offer consultations at no cost to you.
